CONCLUSIONS


1. eAccessibility

It has been ascertained that efforts are being made by municipalities and public factors so as citizens be able to have e- accessibility aiming this way to the implementation of different important procedures relatively to the public services in a quick and easy way.
An organization gap was detected in the public organs, which could be covered through the classification of the citizens' needs.

2. ICT and Ageing

It has been placed in the epicenter the creation of a frame for the ICT, relatively to ageing. The Committee has already upgraded the research in ICT for ageing in the sector of the subjects " tele-health " and " tele-accession " of the 7th framework programme for the Information Society technologies, emphasizing on the users' participation and the wide ICT implementation adapted in the needs of the elderly. It assembles projects funded by the E.U. or other, so as to contribute to a common frame of interoperability that has to do with ICT services and solutions for ageing.

3. Digital Literacy and Competencies

Some very good practices have been shown such this of the e-education that is applicated in the Athens University, the European Programme " Leonardo Da Vinci ", which concerns the vocational education and training, the European project "Europe for All', even some innovating initiatives of Manchester city. It is proved that there are remarkable efforts regarding the citizens' digital training.

4. Cultural Diversity and Inclusion of Young People

It is proved that there are many chances where many young people are involved and this is very important. Likewise, the economic growth is promoted and whenever there is one reasonable use of technology, things go better and better.
The width and the speediness of technology and concrete advances are extremely quick, the paces are frenzied and we have to respond, to act, and relatively to the culture to examine the new perspectives concerning the involvement of the ICT.

5. Geographic Digital Divide

It has been analyzed the access and the urge for investments concerning this sector, where still exist blockades, which lead us to the need of the Broadband Network promotion, so as this loss to be minimized and eliminated.
Also, it has been analyzed the main elements of the "SIZEFXIS" Net, which is trying to organize and promote specific business to the advantage of the government and the local authorities , as well as the citizens.
Moreover, it has been presented another side of the e-learning and the lifelong education in Greece, concerning the ways of its implement on people who work for the local societies, the local factors, and what are the specific pre-requisite, which may be synchronized, unsynchronized.

6. Inclusive Public Services

Three important issues have been developed which concerned the e-inclusion:
. The first concerned the access to the e-public services; it was made a reference to the example of Talin (Estonia), which has such an access all over the world, where in libraries the librarians work also as computers' consultants so as to be able to help citizens.
. The second concerned the best practice of Trikala where a business project has been created through an optical fibers' net (MAN), so as a Wi Fi net to be created.
. The third concerned the boosting, fortification, promotion and active participation of the citizens, which will be possible through the tools eGov 2.0, Wikki.., and internet2, their participation in the evolution of the e- government through the superadded role of the citizen.
